Ferdy
Ferdy is a side table designed to be placed beside or in front of a sofa or chair. Three horizontal shelves contrast with the inclined line of the supporting structure. The shape is inspired by a flag mast set at an angle, with the banner held straight by the wind. Ferdy combines different materials. The main structure is made of matte satin painted metal, the top and the base are made of marble, and the central top is made of wood. Several colors are available. The shelves can hold lamps, books and magazines.
Ferdy Coffee and Side Table by Daniele Mezzetti was selected as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Ferdy Coffee and Side Table was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which honors superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
