Ritmo
Ritmo is a dining table designed as a gathering place for family and friends. The legs are shaped to simulate movement, creating a sense of rhythm. A brass bar acts as an equilibrium line across the base. Seen from different angles, the table reveals different shapes. The wood is cut, sanded and turned, and the pieces are glued and then varnished. The brass bar is fixed with spheres. The form follows a Scandinavian and modernist direction. Ritmo can be produced in various sizes and colours for dining rooms, offices and vanity rooms.
Ritmo Table by Linda Martins was recognized as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ritmo Table earned the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
