Hanoi

Hanoi is a detachable sofa designed for flat packaging. The sofa is assembled in about four minutes without tools, glue or metal parts. Four beech wood pillars are rotated into threaded holes in the wooden base. Upholstered backrests and armrests are then attached to the pillars and fixed with threaded caps at the top of each pillar. Cushions are added last. The packed volume is two fifths of the assembled sofa, which reduces packaging, storage and transport costs. The structure recalls the Tower of Hanoi puzzle.

Rong

Rong is a tea sideboard designed for home use. Rong is made of North American black walnut with a clear wood grain. A double-layer octagonal countertop and herringbone struts divide the functional areas by shape. The cabinet body has grille strip sliding doors that move along a track, so no space is needed in front of the unit. Multiple storage areas keep different tea sets in order. The concave countertop surface and the pressure center placed behind the center of gravity prevent tipping. Simple components allow users to assemble the sideboard themselves.

Forget

Forget is an electric kettle designed for tea lovers and for use in quiet tea rooms. The trapezoidal body, the round handle and the raised column base recall the image of a seated meditator, reflecting the oriental tea ceremony. An infrared sensor is placed in the handle. Water is heated when a hand is waved above the sensor bar from front to back, and heating stops when a hand is waved in the opposite direction. The base is made of cast iron, which adds stability. The raised base stores the power cord and keeps the power connection away from water.

Hone

Hone shelf is a timeless and magnetic design inspired by natural forms, and arises as a reinterpretation of a traditional shelf through a conceptual alteration of the physical properties of the material. In this way, the solid wood becomes elastic in a conceptual way. By doing so, the vertical supports stretch outwards isolating the horizontal planes, giving movement to the whole piece and promoting load transmission. The aim is to highlight the organic essence of the piece, its living personality and to contrast the strength of its mass with the lightness and subtle contact with the ground.
