Sousmotif
It is quite intriguing to be able to see aspects of one country's history and folklore through a different perspective. That led to the creation of Sousmotif, a coaster set which is inspired by the motif found on textiles that are produced by a traditional loom in Northern Greece. History lives on through a coaster and makes a new turn.
Sousmotif Coaster by Vassilis Mylonadis has been highlighted as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Sousmotif Coaster was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2017. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
