Livre was born from the idea to blend together the desire for the concept of an Asian-inspired product with the actual perspective of GallottieRadice. The result of this is an armchair that could be define hybrid for the craftmanship applied to the solid wood base; the upper part is instead an enveloping armchair, that feels like a cocoon, very elegant in its shape in contrast with the base which is thick but at the same time tapered, interesting and very soft as a whole.
Continue readingMemoria is a chair made from concrete canvas, a textile that is normally used in civil construction for its durability and resistance. The chair is shaped over a mold that is three-dimensionally printed in recyclable PLA. The concrete canvas is applied to the mold and left to set for at least 24 hours. An epoxy resin is then added to fill the pores and increase solidity. Memoria measures 1100 by 900 by 708 millimeters and is impact resistant and waterproof. The design combines sustainability, function and new sensory experiences.
Continue readingParachute is a wall shelf made of sheet metal. When a section is in use, the plank of that section drops down and hangs in place. The hanging plank holds a coat, a magazine or similar items and keeps them from falling. The surface carries colored stripes separated by thin spaces, so the shelf recalls the graphic appearance of a modern parachute and can also be read as wall art. Parachute measures 790 mm in width, 30 mm in depth and 220 mm in height. The name joins the ideas of protecting and falling.
Continue readingCapsule Tea Machine is a tea brewing appliance for home and office use. Ten tea capsule types are available, and the selected capsule is placed in the cover at the top. An internal recognition component identifies the tea leaves and applies a suitable brewing method, so a cup of tea is ready in fifty seconds. Double-layer pressurized brewing simulates the two-stage manual process of Chinese tea making. A high-temperature steam system cleans the inner space. The form recalls the compact outline of ancient Chinese blue tile windows.
Continue readingHobot2S is a window cleaning robot designed for home use. The device measures 240 by 240 by 86 millimeters and holds onto glass by suction, so it can work on windows of any thickness. A dual ultrasonic spray system releases a small amount of water to dissolve stains, and a reusable cloth is fitted to the base. Edge leakage sensors detect window seals and the edges of frameless windows. The voice prompt can be personalized and the firmware updated through a mobile application. Cleaning is done without reaching the glass by hand.

While the chamber can be cleaned with a single touch, thanks to the combination of HEPA and metal filter inside, no dust particles can escape. Thanks to the adjustable built-in brush on the sweeping tip, it is possible to vacuum places such as sofas and tabletop.
