Flux

Mehran Gharleghi and Amin Sadeghy from Studio INTEGRATE have created “Flux Table” within their exploration of fusing historically rooted geometries with contemporary modes of computation. Its intricate form and pattern is derived from a basic "Toranj", a mathematical pattern used in Iranian architecture; from which a smooth transition between two layers of a strict geometric pattern is constructed. The geometrical pattern at the top surface fuses to the bottom layer through a series of multi-directional arches. The generated form is manufactured using digital fabrication.

CAST

The stoves were created using cast-iron and long-lasting material which conveys, in some way; a retro touch belonging to past aesthetics, recalling wood stoves and the memory of cooking on the fire. Stoves can be modern and traditional at the same time; they are clean, efficient and have a highest level of functionality. The gas burners are of the latest generation and combine design with efficiency. We wanted to re-dress an existing product with a new, desirable quality.

CAST

The hood was developed to perfectly integrate within the exiting architectural structure of the kitchen, but also to be coherent with the full range of appliances. The minimal gesture of the hood aims to update and extend its standard use, allowing the user to perform other functions at the same time. The hood was designed as parallelepiped in which a section was subtracted in order to be used as a shelf for storing various objects and tools. It is an optimization both in terms of functionality and technology.

CAST

The oven was designed to be integrated within the wall and is characterized by a flat surface. A recessed edge that runs the perimeter of the oven works as a handle. This choice was driven by the unpleasant presence of standard handles in common ovens, which often represent a contrasting visual element with respect to the existing kitchen’s furniture and style. This minimal look was made possible thanks to Beko's touch screen display technology which allows the user to interact with the appliance.

Fluens

Fluens is a modern and sofisticated loveseat that breaks with our conventions and redefines the concept of design. The assimetric aesthetics (New shape in every side that we look), allows a much more pleasant, dynamic and exclusive utilization. The parametric model, suported by a mathematic model developed inside a tridimensional graphic design software, allowing us to generate unusual curves and superficies easily and with efficiency. This way the production starts with the premise - be optimized and use less material than a tradicional model, stablishing the relation with sustainable theme.
