XX Stool

The need for a collapsible and multifunctional furniture came when exploring the needs and design solutions in small spaces. The challenge was to design the furniture as compact, light and as useful as possible. The legs are made out of steel to provide support and stability, they are designed to form two X's that enable the stool to collapse for transportation or storage. It is designed for people who live in small spaces or anyone who would like to save space in their living or working areas. XX Stool can be used as a stool, book/magazine storage and a side table.

Trace

The Trace is a stackable dining chair designed for use in home and contract environments. It is constructed of a solid, steel wire frame that supports a stitched, reinforced leather seat and back sling. The slings flex to provide a comfortable, supportive seat that adjusts to the user. The chair features an integral handle at the back for easy mobility, and stacks efficiently with the addition of custom moulded foam pads under the seat to prevent rubbing wear.

Lamo

“Misattribution of arousal“- During a situation which is unstable or dangerous, people will feel arousal; at that time, people will assume that their elevated heart rate is caused by how attractive they find from the opposite sex around them. The designer designed an experimental table set to facilitate a date. Laser cut stainless steel sheet can create unstable, bouncy and dangerous feeling during usage. While using the tableware, the tableware will be shaking due to the pressure of taking food. Cause the light will be reflected by the table edge, it will create sparkling reflection around.

Greed

There ought to be a feeling of unease and discomfort which will serve as a reminder of the greed of people. The extraneous number of legs of both the table and the chair symbolize such greed. The section of the table connected directly to the cluster of legs expresses the descending negative void of greed. The process to achieve this effect was done personally using diverse fox and tail joinery techniques without requiring much other equipment.

Recliner (single)

The Studio Stirling RECLINER hanging swing chair has elegantly curved lines & is sculptural and dynamic with a considered balance point. Fluid & organic, it lends itself for use as a functional art piece. It's gentle movement gives a floating experience with panoramic views of the surroundings. Nature inspired the pattern detailing reminiscent of the veins in leaves, tree branches intersecting & patterns in dragonfly wings. It is extremely comfortable & has a cozy cocoon like feel that embraces your body and soul.

dwiss

To support the Circular Economy the dwiss has a sustainable design and promotes recycling by making it quick and easy. It is made from plywood, which is a finite and carbon neutral material. It's innovative 'frame and compartment' design minimises the quantity of plywood required. Mechanical parts have been avoided to increase durability and the dwiss has been constructed in a way that enables maintenance over the years to come, with a serial number laser engraved on the rear to facilitate customer support. The dwiss has 4 compartments, including 1 for non-recyclables.
