CAST

The oven was designed to be integrated within the wall and is characterized by a flat surface. A recessed edge that runs the perimeter of the oven works as a handle. This choice was driven by the unpleasant presence of standard handles in common ovens, which often represent a contrasting visual element with respect to the existing kitchen’s furniture and style. This minimal look was made possible thanks to Beko's touch screen display technology which allows the user to interact with the appliance.

Trifold

The Trifold's shape is informed by a combination of triangular surfaces and a unique folding sequence. It has a minimalist yet complex and sculptural design, from every view angle it reveals a unique composition. The design can be scaled to suit various purposes without compromising its structural integrity. The Trifold is a showcase of digital fabrication methods and the use of new manufacturing technologies such as robotics. The production process has been developed in collaboration with a robotic fabrication company specialising in folding metals with 6-axis robots.

Zeitgeist

The clock is reflected the zeitgeist, which is associated with smart, tech and durable materials. High-tech face of the product is represented by a semi torus carbon body and time display (light holes). Carbon replaces metal part, as a relic of the past and emphasizes the function part of the clock. The absence of central part shows that innovative LED indication replace classical clock mechanism. Soft backlight can be adjusted under their owner's favorite color and a light sensor will monitor the strength of illumination.

The Coanda

The Coanda, designed by Constantino Papatsoris and Santiago Castillo, is a smart, connected ceiling fan that communicates with smartphones via a dedicated app. Users can toggle the built-in LED light fixture, control location or time-based "on" and "off" settings, airflow intensity, automated temperature optimization based on seasonal changes, and communication with smart thermostats to reach optimal temperature and energy savings. The Coanda rethinks the traditional ceiling fan design, accounting for fluid dynamics and inspiration provided by computer fans and industrial air amplifiers.

Folded Tones

Rugs are inherently flat, the goal was to challenge this simple fact. The illusion of three-dimensionality was achieved with just three colours. The variety of tones and depth of the rug is dependent on the width and density of the stripes, rather than a large palette of colours that may jar with a particular space, thus allowing for flexible use. From above or far away, the rug resembles a folded sheet. However, while sitting or lying on it, the illusion of the folds may not be perceptible. This lead to the use of simple repetitive lines that can be enjoyed as an abstract pattern up close.

Pebble

Pebble is designed as a healthy heating system for both indoor and outdoor places. The system is based on the heating of naturally formed and tumbled pebbles of various natural colors via an electrical resistance. The product is healthy by humudifying the air, also economical and space-saving with the wide surface area in a small volume. The product, as a natural heating system is both functional with its mobility and visually appealing with a sculpture like look.
